Possible new house Rule

I am thinking, with the new disciplines and all, of restricting the clan disciplines to IN clan only


IE

Protean is only available to gangrel, auspex only to mehkets etc


so

right now i am at limiting the 4 and 5 dot powers only, but im not against total limitation..this will make sure players play all the clans, and all clans have uses,
(who wants to be a Ventrue and deal with their weakness when you can be a mehket and pick up Dominate)


i want thoughts and concerns

as of now i am not considering anything like this for other splats

can we still teach them to others like normal for return in training in something else or favor, etc

the thing is, im considering is the clans disciplines (protean majesty etc) are bound to the blood of the clan

now this wont effect bloodlines, and im still leaning towards, if i go this route that is, is having only 4 dot and 5 dot powers to be clan restricted

so how would that pertain to ghouls? and what about ghouls that are turned by their master?

ghouls could learn physical disciplines, animalism and obfuscate
